Metallic Epoxy is a different flooring process and product than the traditional epoxy flake systems. We do recommend the traditional flake system over the metallic for garage floors that will be housing vehicles – as it is more durable and holds up better with vehicles, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Metallic flooring comes with a 10 year warranty.
The pricing for metallic epoxy is higher that the standard flake system due to the cost of additional materials and labor. Most of our competitor’s rates are much higher priced – our pricing below reflects our Internet special pricing:
4 Car Garage – $3,900 – up to 850 sq ft
3 Car Garage – $3,200 – up to 650 sq ft
2 Car Garage – $2,400 – up to 450 sq ft
This pricing is based on a standard size garage floor, semi-custom or custom homes might be more based on sq. ft.
There is no expiration date on this special pricing offer.
Pricing includes minor concrete repair – examples being hairline cracks & chips in concrete – we do not re-level / refloat or resolve uneven cracks – note with Metallic flooring – filled cracks, divets in concrete, imperfections will still be visible as there is no “flakes” hiding these concrete issues.
The process is 3-days – includes a moisture vapor barrier epoxy as the primer – pigmented color base (based on Metallic color), 100% solid based epoxy with colored metallic mixed, Polyurea clear coat – 100% UV resistant, all products are VOC compliant.
Stem walls aren’t included with Metallic epoxy systems – as they don’t work vertically – we recommend customers paint the stem walls post Metallic installation – use a garage paint that matches or whatever color the customer desires, most people paint white or black.
Potential Additional Charges:
- Removing existing paint, epoxy, glue residue, etc. – requires diamond grinding and adds another day to process.
- Priced per sq ft depending on size and what is being removed
- Out of service areas (examples include: La Quinta/Indio, Chula Vista, Ontario/Fontana, Newport Coast)
- Add $50-$100 depending on distance
- If you have separate garages
- Varies depending on garage size (example: a 2-car and a separate 1-car – add $100)
Note that each metallic epoxy floor is unique, and designs will vary due to the nature of the application process.
